Make sure you're on version 1.8 – 1.21. All versions are supported.
From the main menu, click Multiplayer then Add Server.
Type the address below into the server address field and click Done.
Double-click the server or hit Join Server. You'll spawn in the hub ready to queue up.

Blungeon SMP is a Minecraft Java Edition PvP Duels server focused on skill-based 1v1 combat. Join the queue, get matched with an opponent, and climb the leaderboards.
Connect using the IP play.blungeon.net on any Java version from 1.8 to 1.21+. Once in the hub, walk into a portal or use the queue menu to select your gamemode.
All gamemodes use a blind matchmaking queue. Simply join the queue for a mode and you'll be matched with another player automatically. No invites needed.
Your stats are tracked per gamemode — wins, losses, kills, deaths, and win streak. Check the leaderboard via the menu or the sidebar in the hub.
Ranks on Blungeon SMP are cosmetic and do not affect gameplay balance. They provide chat prefixes, custom kit slots, and visual perks.

Sumo is the purest test of movement skill on Blungeon SMP. Both players spawn on a platform above the void. The goal: knock your opponent off.
Sprint-clicking and W-tapping are key skills. Try to get your opponent near the edge then land a sprint hit to send them flying.
UHC (Ultra Hardcore) disables natural health regeneration. Every point of damage counts, and healing is scarce. Patience and precision win here.
Golden apples are your only healing. Save them for the right moment — don't pop one at full health. Bow damage at the start of a fight can turn the tide.
Sword is the classic 1.8-style PvP duel. Fast-paced, combo-based combat with pre-set diamond gear.
Combos, W-tapping, and strafing are the core skills. The player who lands more consistent hits and maintains their combo wins.
Axe mode uses 1.9+ attack cooldown mechanics with shields. It rewards patience, timing, and knowing when to strike versus block.
Axes disable shields for 5 seconds on a successful hit through the block. Timing your axe swing to break their shield opens a free window of damage.
Custom Kits lets you build your own gear set from scratch, then start a match where opponents join and fight using your custom loadout.
One player creates a kit and starts a match. Other players can browse active matches and join to fight using the kit owner's custom loadout. Both players use the same kit for a fair fight.
Open the kit builder via /kits or the kit menu in the hub. Browse items by category — weapons, armor, consumables, and blocks — then assemble your loadout.
